She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable Wilcox and Edd Scott; and her brother Roger Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Benton (Randy) of Jonesville and Shawn Jenkins (Michelle) of Boonville; her grandchildren, Tyler Jenkins and Alyssa Jenkins; and her siblings, Linda Church of North Wilkesboro, Debbie Groce (Darry) of Boonville, Lonnie Nichols (Juanita) of Jonesville and Johnny Wilcox of North Wilkesboro.
In lieu of flowers the family asks requests memorials be made to Arlington First Baptist Church.
