He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Laster Cook and Marvin Junior Cook; his wife Libby Cook; his sons, Jeffrey Cook (Jodi) and Jared Cook (Emily); his grandchildren, Courtney Johnson (Travis Penninger), Austin, Easton and Savannah Cook; and his brother Donnie Cook (Brenda).
