She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Zeno Collins and Annie Ruth Burchette Collins; her husband Noah Gaston Gilmore Sr.; her son Larry Michael Gilmore; her daughter-in-law Nancy Gilmore; and her brothers, Alton Collins, Vernon Collins and Jimmy Burchette.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Gilmore, Steve "Beatrice" Gilmore, Ronnie Gilmore, Noah, David Gilmore (Faye) and Cherlyl Smith (Joel); her grandchildren, Darrell Gilmore, Clint Gilmore (Tracy), Steven Gilmore (Vi), Brad Gilmore (Monica), Johnnie Gilmore (Trista), Hannah Gilmore (Michelle), Melinda Gilmore and Bridget Murphy (David); and her sisters, Jeanette Hinshaw and Lousie Livengood (Edward). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fall Creek Baptist Church (3320 Fall Creek Church Rd, Jonesville, NC 28642). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
