He is survived by: his wife Jean Dezearn; his children, Jeff Dezearn (Jewel) of Elkin, Darren Dezearn (Kathy) of Greensboro and Teah Seabolt (Gene) of Greensboro; his stepdaughters, Cynthia Alford (Dan) of Taylorsville, Cheryl Poindexter (Steve) of Jonesville and Millie Beard (Jason) of Elkin; his siblings, Jerry Dezearn (Glenda) of Tennessee, Ernie Dezearn (Janie) of Tennessee, Ruby Ezell of Tennessee, Mary Bates of Tennessee and Carol Loy (Elmer) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jeffery, Matthew, Timothy, Justin, Kelsey and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Jayda and Wyatt. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
