He is survived by: his wife Jean Payne; his son-in-law Janie Westra; his grandson Cord Gentry of Oakland California; his brother Charles Mathis of Jonesville; his children, Joy, Janie and Cord; and also, Tom Westra of State Road and Joy Mathis of Jonesville.
