James Fletcher Yokley II Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Fletcher Yokley II of Jonesville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hoyle Yokley Jr. (Bud) and Clara Jacquelin Springthorpe Yokley. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Emily Yokley Cooke, Elizabeth Bland Yokley Tickle and Laura B. Yokley; his niece Mary (Tickle); his son Lucian Helm; his nephew Michael Tickle (Becki); his great-nephew Joseph; his great-nieces, Emily and Gwen Davault; his niece Sonnie Cooke Hardy (Stan); his niece Stacy Cooke Smith Carroll (Rick); his great-niece Sophie; his great-nephew Porter Smith; and also Zane Hardy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (472 N Main St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
