It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Poplin (Jonesville, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Clyde T. Poplin; and her sisters, Ola Turner, Kathleen Hudspeth and Gladys Caudle. She is survived by: her children, Donald Poplin (Linda) and Mary Chappell (Tommy); her grandchildren, Donnie Poplin, Lisa Barnett (Joey), Beth Darnell, Wendee Chappell and Angie Spicer (Travis); her great grandchildren, Eric Murdaugh, Brittany Long (Bruce), Andrew, Sarah, Samuel Darnell and Madison Spicer; and her great great grandchildren, Michael Long, Lexie Long and Caleb Long.
