He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goad, Sr. and Dora Sutphin Goad. He is survived by: his children, Anita Southard (Chris) of Dobson, John Goad of Sparta and Angie Mounce of Reston, VA; the mother of his children Helen Marion of Mt. Airy; his sister Goldie Vogler (Earl) of Pfafftown; his grandchildren, Chase Mounce, Carson Mounce, Clay Mounce, Eddie Brown (Kayla) and Candace Wilmoth (Buzz); his great grandchildren, Ellis Wilmoth, Aebry Murphy, Sailor Brown and Banks Brown; and his close friend Louise Houston of Dobson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
