She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ephrin Shaffner and Amy Macemore Shaffner; her grandson Ryan Gwyn; and her siblings, Ruth Blake, Dorothy Mullis, Paul Shaffner, James Shaffner, Jesse Shaffner, William Shaffner and Jacob Shaffner.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Lee Byrd, Jr. (Yvonne), Timothy Charles Byrd (Melissa) and Sherry Lynn Byrd (Sammy Evans); and her grandchildren, Samuel Byrd, Joshua Byrd, Jessica Dowell, Alex Gwyn, Natalie Gentry, Leslie Byrd, Jordan Byrd, Dylan Byrd, Ashley Barker, Austin Barker, Nickie Adams, Lakin Evans, Brett Barker and Blake Barker. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
