She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Jo Kimmer; her daughter Christine Blackburn; her granddaughters, Destin Kimmer, Bobbi D. Kimmer and Mikki Fay Blackburn (Little Mikki); her son-in-law Micky Blackburn; and her siblings, Joe Prevette, Warren Prevette and Peggy Prevette.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Kimmer of Elkin, Allan Kimmer of Jonesville and David Kimmer (Tammi) of Jonesville; her siblings, Grady Prevette of Jonesville and Barbara Jean Prevette of Jonesville; and her grandchildren, Dylan Jones and Joey Jones. She is also survived by five granddaughters; also five great-great-granddaughters.
