It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Rose Smith of Jonesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Lanni and Maria Demartino Lanni; her sister Rose Nault; and her husband Johnny Smith. She is survived by: her children, Tina Wagoner (Sammy), John and Dennis Smith; her siblings, John Lanni and Edith Lanni; her grandchildren, Zoe Vestal and Daniel Wilson; her siblings-in-law, Woody and Nancy Smith; her niece Nancy Reardon (Chris); her nephew Mark Lang (Marguerite); her sister-in-law Joyce Carter; and her friends, Sandra Long and Karen Walser.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (5933 US-21 BUS, Jonesville, NC 28642). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in Christina's memory.
