She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Brown and Effie Tedder Brown; her spouse Willie "Willard" Perry; and her siblings, Mary Brown (Nancy Brown) and James Brown Johnny (Cecil Brown).

She is survived by: her children, Willie Dean Perry (Debra) of North Wilkesboro, Kathy Kidd (Victor) of Hudson, Linda Santiago of Jonesville and Betty Savage (Ed) of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Christopher Kidd (Jennifer) of Hudson, Anthony Cleary of Jonesville, Jessica Hodges (Darryl) of Lenoir, Amanda Brooks (Taylor) of North Wilkesboro, Shannon Perry of North Wilkesboro, Michael Perry (Beverly) of North Carolina, Brandon Savage (Tawuana) of Roanoke Rapids, Christopher Savage of Elkin and Christina Parker (Jason) of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Matthew Bell, Ginger Cleary, Andrew Barger, Bradley Barger, Levi Perry, Olivia Perry, Mason Kidd, Chloe Kidd, Rylee Perry, Brianna Savage, Valerie Savage, Hunter Parks, Natalie Brown, Nyomi Brown and Callie Brooks; and her siblings, Robert Brown of McGrady, Betty Lucille Wagoner of North Wilkesboro, Nora Lee Perry of Wilkesboro and Marie Wagoner (Charlie) of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and her church family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harvest Time Ministries & Christian Academy (400 Winston St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
