With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hal McNeely of Jonas Ridge, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hal McNeely to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Berry McNeely and Winnie Clodfelter McNeely; and his siblings, Vivian McNeely and Gary McNeely. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Armfield McNeely (Betty); and his sons, Gene McNeely, Jr. of Eclectic, AL, David McNeely (Judith) of Tallahassee, FL, Paul McNeely (Shawn) of Montgomery, AL, Michael McNeely (Brenda) of Mooresville, NC and Kevin McNeely (Jill) of Salisbury, NC..

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Buck Creek Presbyterian Church (2145 Back Creek Church Rd, Mt Ulla, NC 28125). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (1728 S Hull St, Montgomery, AL 36104).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frank Presbyterian Church.

He was a genuine, honest man with a love for the Lord, his family, and people. He is a very special and kind soul, and I will always remember my times with him.
