She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCoy Miller and Callie Bare Miller; her husband Lonnie Calvin Severt; and her siblings, Selphia Miller, Delphia Miller, Lora Severt, Elsie Miller, Ruby Miller, Eva Johnson, Estell Miller, Ora Mash, Goldie Roten, Howard Miller and Franklin Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Severt (Nancy) of Wilkesboro, Billy Severt (Rita) of Jefferson, Lonnie Kim Severt of Jefferson, Vickie Roten of Millers Creek, Karen Rollins (Danny) of Salisbury and Patty Severt of Jefferson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
