Steve Sidney Barker Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Sidney Barker of Jefferson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Alfred; and his brothers, Danny James Barker and Warren Jones Barker. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Sue Atwood Barker of Crumpler; his spouse Jenifer Hansen Barker of Jefferson; his daughter Stephanie Barker of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Alyssa Bridges (Avery) of North Wilkesboro and Jackson Latham of Millers Creek; and his siblings, Linda Moya (Salvadore) of Crumpler, Alice Miller (Steve) of Smithport, Becky Barker of Crumpler and Jesse Barker (Phyllis) of Hays. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
