It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Bare of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ordon Bare and Sallie Bare; his granddaughter Katie Eaton; and his siblings, Perry, Richard Bare, Jane Marshall and Sally Roten.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rutherford Bare of Jefferson; his children, Randy Bare (Darlene) of Rockwell, Roger Bare of Rockwell, Christopher Bare of Jefferson and Amy Dunford (Dave) of Salisbury; his stepson Julian Becker (Amber) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Amber Mullis (Scottie) of Lexington and Bryar Bare (Matthew) of Rockwell; his great grandchild Gage Mullis of Lexington; and his siblings, Sheridan Bare (Jennie) of Jefferson and Loretta Walters of Jefferson.
