He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Grubbs and Addie Slater Grubbs; his sister Evola Ketner; and his son-in-law Howard Hartsfield. He is survived by: his wife Anne Butler Britton; his daughters, Shannon Britton Hartsfield, Robyn Britton and Paige Authement; his sister Dorothy Burkette (David) of Johnson City, TN; and his grandchildren, Sabrina, Arienne Hartsfield, Cassidy, Darby Britton, Addison and Countess Authement. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
