He is survived by: his wife Linda Bare Copus; his children, Michelle Stanton of Waller, Lainie Susanne Kopicki of Asheville and Rick Copus of West Jefferson; and his stepchildren, Angelia B Pilar of West Jefferson and Erik A Bare of Jefferson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
