He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joe Gentry and Winfred Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wyatt Gentry; his children, Pam Edwards (Clyde) of Davie County and Kevin Gentry; his siblings, Tobe Gentry of Jefferson, Imajean Stevens (Wade) of Jefferson and Wanda Jones (Kyle) of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Emily Mullins (Brad), Rachel Peterson of Spain and Faith Peterson of Boone; and his great grandchild Gabriel Mullins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
