He is survived by: his children, Patricia Greer of Jefferson, Mary Jo Roland of Crumpler, Joey Roland (Heather) of Jefferson and Jimmy Roland (Kathy) of Glendale Springs; and his siblings, Robert Roland of Jefferson, Billy Roland of Jefferson, Dorothy Evans of Union Grove, Ida Taylor of Mooresville, Irene Greer of Creston, Leslie Fink of Jefferson, Betty Shatley of Crumpler, Geraldine Turner of West Jefferson and Rosie Turner of Crumpler. He is also survived by one grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
