He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gwyn and Edna Poole Gambill; and his sister Jane Gamble. He is survived by: his wife Janis Vince Gambill; his children, James Gambill (KrisAnn) of Apex, Jill Gambill of Jefferson and Jon Gambill (Heather) of Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Orion, Maddie, Vince, Delia and Charli.
