It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ina Ruth Hurley of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cox and Ina Phipps Worth; and her siblings, Joseph Worth (Buzz), David Worth, Elizabeth Worth and Jennie Clyde Hightower.

She is survived by: her husband Benjamin "Gale" Hurley; her son Ben Hurley (Grier) of Jefferson; and her grandchildren, Jennifer DeSpain (Justin) of West Jefferson and Wil Hurley (Caitlin) of West Jefferson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
