With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Hayden Dillard of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dillard and Ruth Miller Dillard; his wife Betty Lambert Dillard; his grandson Shawn Harless; and his brothers, Blaine Dillard and Herbert Dillard.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dillard (Edith) of West Jefferson, Sherrie Harless (Mark) of West Jefferson and Shana Gomez (Andres Vasquez Gomez) of Jefferson; his siblings, Clifton Dillard (Doris) of Jefferson, Peggy Powers (Larry) of Jefferson and Barbara Phillips of Concord; and his grandchildren, Chad Dillard, Stephanie Johnson, Ashley Dillard, Jessica Ramirez, Vanessa Coldiron and Melissa Wilcox. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family does request that you wear a mask and social distance yourself.
