He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson (Johnson) and Thelma Shaver Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Leggett Johnson of Jefferson; his children, Greg Johnson (Jenny) of Jefferson, Teri Pasley (Todd) of Raleigh and Mark Johnson (Holly) of Kingston Springs, Tennessee; his siblings, Martha McRee (Troy) of Catawba County and Gary Johnson (Bunny) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Laramie Johnson, Kelsey Johnson, Thea Pasley, Isabelle Pasley, Ava Johnson, Sam and Pete Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Adrian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
