It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Johnson of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Silver and Loretta Buchanan Silver; and her siblings, Franklin, Leroy, Tony, Lovetta and Mary Silver.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Raymond Johnson; her stepson Heath Johnson; her siblings, Cindy Silver of Jefferson, Shirley Church of Hudson, Martha Johnson (Bill) of Marion, Verta Lewis (Conley) of Granite Falls and Wayne Silver of Drexel; and her nieces and nephews, Andy Rocket, Wade Pittman, Chris Pittman, Vernon Silver, Larry Silver, Sheryl Ann Honeycutt, Eva Anderson, Lisa Derick and Lavada Bolton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Jefferson Baptist Church Building Fund.
