He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepfather Howard Poe; his sons, Garry "Michael" McMillan (Debra) of Winston-Salem and Steven McMillan of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Greg Poe (Wendy) of Glendale Springs and Pam Munday of Hickory. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
