He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McCoy and Mary Jane Combs McCoy; and his son Thomas Charles McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Brandy McCoy-Pennington (Tommy) of West Jefferson, Vincent McCoy and Dean Joseph McCoy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
