He was predeceased by: his wife Wylene Blevins Barker; his son Randy Barker; and his brothers, Lee Barker, Fred Barker, Gene Barker and Millard Barker.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Heather Peters (Marty) of Crumpler, Nathan Barker (Candace) of Deep Gap, Callie Lewis (Dalton) of Jefferson and Luke Barker of Jefferson; his great grandchildren, Harper, Hadley Peters of Crumpler and Silas Barker of Deep Gap; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Barker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
