It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Smith Osborne of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Emerson Osborne; and his brother Cecil Osborne. He is survived by: his children, Allen Osborne (Pat) of Crumpler, Tony Osborne of Crumpler and Sharon Jones (Allen) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Stephen Osborne (Tina) of Jefferson, Jeremy Osborne (Carmen) of Jefferson and Lora Miller (T. J.) of West Jefferson; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Osborne, Hailey Miller, Leigha Miller, Kamden Osborne and Cooper Osborne; and his siblings, Bobby Dean Osborne (Lisa) of Crumpler and Pauline Osborne (Raymond) of Creston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
