She was predeceased by: her parents, Theadore Otterstetter and Pearl Peterson Otterstetter; her husband Harold Stanley; and her children, Cindy and Eric Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicky Hurley (Ben Bryce) of West Jefferson; and her sister Marion Carter of Charlotte. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
