She was predeceased by: her siblings, Evola Grubbs Ketner and Dr. Robert Grubbs Britton. She is survived by: her siblings, Oscar Ira and Addie Slater Grubbs; and her husband David R. Burkette of Johnson City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
