She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Ward and Lula Price Ward Timbs; and her husband Max Gardner Pennell. She is survived by: her children, Max Pennell of Bunnell, Teddy Pennell (Sherry) of Boone, Shirley Harrison (Billy) of Butler, Jo Ann Dobes (Willie) of Jacksonville, Ricky Pennell (Kathy) of Fleetwood and Steven Pennell of Jefferson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and her extended family.
Those attending the funeral or visitation are requested to wear a mask.
