She was predeceased by: her parent Garvie Jones; her daughter Brenda Halsey; her grandchild Chaffin Washburn; her brother Larry Jones; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Halsey Reeves.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Halsey; her children, Frank Halsey, Jr. (Joseph Hunt) of Johnson City, TN, Lori Merritt of Wilmington, DE and Diana Washburn of Elkton, MD; and her siblings-in-law, Don Halsey (Cyndia) of Snellville, GA, Ed Halsey of Airville, PA and Elizabeth Flaharty (Lonny) of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
