He was predeceased by: his parent Merrill George; and his brother Max Bare. He is survived by: his sons, Dan Bare (Hope) of West Jefferson and Mark Bare of Asheville; his sister Norma Bryant (Don) of Fort Myers, FL; his granddaughters, Jordan Bare of West Jefferson, Haley Hart (Landon) of West Jefferson and Caroline Bare of West Jefferson; and his great grandchild Sadie Rae Hart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
