Barbara Ann Walker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Walker of Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mercer Hurst and Margaret Beck Hurst; her husband Glenn Lee Walker; her son Larry Walker; and her siblings, Bill Hurst and Doris Mitchell.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol Taylor of Jefferson; her grandchildren, Tracy Zimmerman, Sherri Powers and Karen Bell; her great grandchildren, Brandon Hudson, Ryan Hudson, Kayla Griffin, Kallie Bell and Landon Zimmerman; and her great great grandchildren, Bently Hudson, Emily Hudson and Aubrey Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the ASPCA.
