It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert W Chichester of Jarvisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Crawley Chichester and Nathaniel Wilson Chichester; and his siblings, Raymond Chichester, Dorothy Dalton and Wilma Athey.

He is survived by: his wife Stacie M. Chichester; his children, Teresa Chichester, Anne-Marie Avina (Josh Avina), Ashley Chichester, Taylor Chichester and Ryan Chichester (Rachel Chichester); his grandchildren, Alex Howerton, Mary Alice Clements, Murdock Horton, Silas Wright, Stella Martinez and Julian Wilson Chichester; and his sisters, Shirley C. Smith (Dickie Smith) and Ruth Dickens. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.
