He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Sandstrom Volk and Thomas Joseph Volk; his siblings, Thomas, George and Betty Ann; and his granddaughter Bridget.
He is survived by: his wife Alma "LaVerne" Volk; and his children, Ronnie Volk, Deborah Cowan, Donna Volk, Ricky Volk (Marcy), Denise Griggs (David), Dianne Dobbins (John) and Deanna Volk (Max).
