She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Benjamin Carter and Lillie Mae Finley Carter; her husband Madison David Evans; her son Larry David Evans; and her siblings, Dorothy Cole, Evelyn Keeling, Charlie B. Carter and Ray Carter.
She is survived by: her son Gary Carter Evans (Donna) of Plymouth, NC; her daughter-in-law Pamela Bowen Evans of Jamesville, NC; her sisters, Lynn Narrow of Colonial Heights, VA, Faye Huff of Cumming, GA and Charlotte Spencer of Shawboro, NC; her grandchildren, Scott Evans (Karen), Lee Evans (Jaynel), Kristian Caldwell (Richard), Melissa Cuba (Nelson), Stephen Kowalsky (Holly) and Maddie Godwin (Brian); her great grandchildren, Samantha Jones (Josh), Madison Evans (Abegail), Dawson Evans, Kamryn Caldwell, Krew Caldwell, Lyric Millican (Kevin), Xavier Mackey, Avery Mackey, Addison Mackey, Rylan Kowalsky, Bryson Godwin, Jaden Gragg, Kasen Godwin, Rachel Kowalsky, Jackson Kowalsky, Chloe Kowalsky and Jasper Kowalsky; and her great great grandchildren, Lauryn Millican, Mason Evans, Margaret Evans, Kinsleigh Jones, Lila Millican and Brinleigh Jones.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Maitland Funeral Home (306 Latham Ave, Plymouth, NC 27962). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
