He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Biggs Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Coltrain Pierce; his children, John "Michael" Pierce Jr. (Joy) of Jamesville and Taylor Pierce Harrison (Garrett) of Bear Grass; his grandchildren, Jesslyn, Michaela, Riley and Sadie; his father Randy Pierce; and his siblings, Ken (Melinda), Thomas and Amanda (Brian).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maple Grove Christian Church (1500 Maple Grove Church Rd, Jamesville, NC 27846). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John Michael's honor to the Jamesville Community Volunteer Fire Department.
