He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Clay Boyd, Sr. and Jacquelyn Rae Slade Boyd; his former wife Carrie Nelson Dickerson; his wife Muffin; his daughters, Miranda Boyd Avila (Tony) of Jamesville, Amber Nichole Boyd of Jamesville and Carly Allene Dickerson; his sister Janet Boyd Meijas of Florida; and his grandchildren, Alyszia Avila, Leena Garcia and Kayce Clay Finch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
