She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hoyt Barber and Kathleen Modlin Barber; her husband Linwood Earl Taylor; her son Stephen Hoyt Taylor; and her sister Shirley Lilley.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Taylor Schmidt of Virginia Beach and David Taylor of Jamesville; her sister Thelma Moore; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, David Jr., Michelle, James and Stephanie. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
