It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wesley Sams (Jamestown, North Carolina), who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, P. E. Sams (Eck) of Jamestown and Nellie Mae Hill Sams of Jamestown. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Sams and Darlene Ellis (Larry); his grandchildren, Brentley Sams (Stephanie), Courtney Floyd, Jonathan Floyd and Jackson Bentley Sams; his siblings, Stephen Sams, Donna Minton, Sharon Anderson and Suenell Taylor (Stephen); his close friend Dewey Ray Smith; and also Ashley Maness. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mitchell's Grove United Methodist Church or Renaissance Road Church.
