He was predeceased by: his father Joe Earl Vaughan. He is survived by: his mother Eva Jane Greene Vaughan of Winston-Salem; his children, Brandon Vaughan and Allyson Abernathy (Dylan); his sister Angela Fary (Bryan); and his granddaughter Charlotte Abernathy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
