She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah M. Owens and Grace Beeson Owens; and her sister Patricia Malone. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Parks of Jamestown and Debra Blackmon (Christopher) of Garner; her brother Leon Owens (Joann) of Archdale; and her grandchildren, Thomas Lones, Joseph Parks, John Parks Jr., Jennifer Parks and Brianna Blackmon.
