With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Jacob Steinert Sr. (Jamestown, North Carolina), born in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2019 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Herman and Helen Werner Steinert; his son Ronald John Steinert; and his siblings, Harriet Steinert Knecht and Robert John Steinert.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Calhoun Steinert; his children, Robert James Steinert (Cathy) of Florence, SC, Katherine Steinert Giannetti of Highland Lakes, NJ and Richard Jacob Steinert, Jr. (Keith Gilbert) of Washington, DC; and his stepchildren, Grace Forbis Morgan (Lowell) of Cornelius, Emily Forbis Arnold (David) of Chapel Hill, Bill Wyble of Clearwater Beach, FL, Jim Wyble (Michele), Tracy Wyble Hedger (Michael) of Wake Forest and Tom Wyble (Jenny) of Summerfield.
