He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hodgin and Myrtle Allred Hodgin; his wife Mae Young Hodgin; his son Junior; his siblings, Kermit Hodgin and Juanita Carlton; and his daughter Wanda Dills.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Howard (Randy) and Barbara Smith (Keith); his grandchildren, Felicia Sebastian (Eddie), Daniel Howard (Tina), Abby Owenby (Brent) and Adrienne Epperson (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Holly Sebastian, Ayden Fiery, Andrew Owenby, Gabe Epperson, Quentin "Quen" Epperson, Mattie Ann Epperson and Raelynn Epperson; his daughter Paulette Brewer (Don); his son-in-law Joe Dills; and his grandchildren, Cheryl Martin (David), Donald Brewer (Jennifer), Branson Dills (Cindy), Wendy Dills and Jonathan Dills (Danielle). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and 2 bonus great-great grandchildren.
