He was predeceased by: his parent John Douthit; and his siblings, Jane Douthit, Samuel Douthit, Meri Beth Douthit, Lola Mae Roland, Bonnie McMahan and Margie King.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Morgan Douthit; his wife Mary Hill Douthit; his children, Karen Willard of Jamestown, Joey Douthit of High Point and Jessica Douthit of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Heather Guffey, Dustin Willard, Stephen Bodenheimer and Miracle Norris; and his siblings, Charles Douthit of Jamestown, Cecil Douthit (Norma) of Topton and Linda Wilson (Steve) of Oak Island.
