He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chalmers and Frances Johnson Parks. He is survived by: his wife Judith Myrick Parks; his sons, Wendel Parks (Wendy) of Summerfield and Neil Parks (Sandy) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Holden, Cole, Cameron and Dylan; and his sister Helen Cox of Rockingham.
