He was predeceased by: his parents, Hawley William and Margie Lucille Copeland Hicks; his wife Carolyn "June" Davis Hicks; and his sister Margie Hicks Barlow. He is survived by: his sons, Randy Hicks (Lori) of Sandy Ridge, NC and Joseph Hicks of Jamestown; his brothers, Xan Hicks (Gwen) of Hendersonville and David Hicks of Nebo; and his grandchildren, Isaac Hicks, Eliza Hicks and Ransom Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Howard's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
