He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wakelon and Ruby Hill Morrison; his wife Patsy "Pat" Lamarr Morrison; his son Michael Wayne Morrison; and his brother Richard "Dickie" Elwood Morrison.

He is survived by: his daughter Michele Morrison McGuire (Mac) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Morgan McGuire, Matthew and Mason McGuire; and his brother John Wakelon "Wakie" Morrison.

Memorials may be made in Gary's memory to Hospice and Pallitive Care Inc.
